Hostetter ( Aelfwine) writes: A new recording of songs from The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings has recently been released (with the approval of the Tolkien estate) by Avalon Rising, a San Francisco Bay area medieval/folk ensemble. Some of the music for these pieces was written by Marion Zimmer Bradley and the rest by Margaret Davis and Kristoph Klover, both of whom are members of Avalon Rising.
